My Darling Clementine has to be one of the worst movies i have ever seen!!!! I am not trying to be mean but it is true!!
I felt that they could of done so much more!!! The acting was really bad, i thought the plot was stupid, and they had really weak and pitifull female roles. The acting had no point to it! I thought there wasn' t that much character development. You didn't really get a sense of who they are! Of course you knew the very basic stuff but not much else.
I think they shouldn't have even put female characters in this movie! There job was to stand around and look pretty. And that is not right. Good movies have strong male and female roles. Clementine and Chihuahua you can tell just based on the names that there are not going to have good parts. Clementine was atleast some what intelligent. But Chihuahua wasn't. If this movie had strong female parts then i think their could of maybe been some hope for this movie.
On the other hand, I did like the movie Once upon a time in the west. I thought that movie was very good! There was only one female lead but she was very strong. I enjoyed every minute of this movie! I like the mystery of Hermonica and Frank! The script was very well written! And the directing/ cinematography was beautifully done. I also thought the soundtrack was fantastic!!!! Everyone had their own music and you could tell who was going to be in the shot based on the music!! Each one was so completly different and great!! This soundtrack is probably one of the most creative and beautiful soundtracks out there!

I agree with you in that Once Upon a Time in the West was better than My Darling Clementine, however, I disagree with you over your opinion of MDC.
The movie is nowhere near as bad as you say it is. Henry Fonda gives an excellent performance. The plot (while hardly historically accurate) is entertaining. It might not be the best movie ever made, but it was enjoyable!
Nonetheless, good job!
Wow. From your take on My Darling Clementine, it sounds like I should never watch it. I never really planned to since i'm not a big fan of westerns, but you definitely sealed the deal on this one for me. Well that is until i hear otherwise, but chances are i wont and ill never get around to watching this movie.
So, you didn't really like MDC? Just wanted to make sure.. I agree with you on the fact that OUTIW was much better done, but MDC wasn't THAT bad. I completely agree with you on the fact that the female characters portrayed looked like idiots. Who names the two main female characters after a fruit and a dog?? Come on now. But the plot did make sense. Although maybe too corny for some, it seemed pretty legit for the time at which it was made. I can understand why people enjoyed it because the character of Wyatt is someone people can somewhat relate to in certain circumstances. As for OUTIN I agree that the cinematic aspects were fantastic. The attention to detail Leone had was great!.. See you in band!
While I haven't seen either of the movies you talk of I'm am simply glad because I heard that My Darling Clementine was terrible. I would have to agree that I hate movies where there are mostly male roles and females are either whores or they are wives that stay at home and do the normal stuff so they never get shown because their lives are so boring. I really hate the western unit because this is exactly how all the movies we watched were like. They seriously need to rethink how they write the western films. I hope that you guys watch better movies then we do. But I would recommend Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind over Groundhog Day any day but thats just me. If you haven't seen it be sure to check it out.
Other than that I'm really glad that you speak your mind and your not afraid of what Mr. Klobs thinks. I give you props for that. Anyways keep up the good work.
